A lady in Colorado has been fined for luring deer into her home and video taping it. This brought Colorado Wildlife management into her home, scolding her for feeding deer human food. Wildlife management has made a statement telling people that if that want a pet, find one that has been domesticated. This lady can be fined $100 for luring deer into her home to feed them. We think she had other plans for the deer, such as naming the deer Venison.

I had no idea you could be fined for feeding deer human food. I also had no idea anyone would lure deer inside their homes. I need to get out more, apparently.

Some people are bird watchers. We are deer watchers. Luring deer inside the home is the question to sanity part. Have you ever smelled a deer? Peer yeeeeew!

I can honestly say I have not ever smelled a deer so I cannot attest to their smelliness. We are far too busy here trying not to hit deer at night and harm them or our cars to pull over and take a sniff. 😉
