A former Iowa State student joined the crowd at Iowa State hoping to catch the attention of media by displaying a sign that said “Busch Light supply needs replenished”. Carson King did more than that. Carson’s Venmo address became flooded with donations, $400 within an hour. Carson decided to donate his beer money to a children’s hospital in Iowa. Busch Light and Venmo both got wind of Carson’s heroic efforts. They hopped on the spot and matched Carson’s donation totaling over 3 million dollars.
